On her marriage certificate her father`s name is Daniel Newbury. In the baptism records her parents are noted as just Matilda Parkins but we know that Daniel married Matilda in 1838. So it is more than likely that Daniel was her father but she just never took his surname. Witness`s at the wedding were Emma Newberry and George Young.
